Levon Ter-Petrossian doesn’t claim presidency

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Congress (ANC) leader Levon Ter-Petrossian doesn’t claim presidency, a political analyst said.

“A person who wants to come to power will not antagonize other opposition forces, as Ter-Petrossian did with regards to Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian or Zhirair Sefilyan,” Armen Aghayan said.

According to him, Ter-Petrossian’s goal was to restore his reputation and he succeeded in doing so. “Now, the ANC leader wants to achieve obvious success to quit the political process,” Aghayan said, adding, however, that “to involve is much easier than to leave.”
