French, Lebanese comics authors to participate in Yerevan-hosted comics festivalMay 5, 2011 - 15:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 6, Yerevan State Chamber Theater will host the official opening ceremony of the festival, titled: Fireworks of Comics. Another event dedicated to comics will be organized later the same day near the monument to Martiros Saryan. Co-founder of the international comics festival of Angouleme, France, Jean Mardikian, critic and script writer Laurent Melikian, as well as French and Lebanese comics authors will be among guests of the festival. The program is implemented through the support of the Armenian Ministry of Culture. VivaCell-MTS company is a sponsor of the event.
