Armenian PM personally congratulates veterans on Victory Day![]() May 10, 2011 - 10:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 9, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the Victory Park in Yerevan where he laid flowers to the Unknown Soldier’s tomb. He personally congratulated the veterans on the Victory Day and joined them for a meal in the field kitchen. “I am happy to see the veterans in good mood, which passes on to the younger generations. We must take care of their health and address their social problems,” Sargsyan said in a conversation with journalists. He also emphasized that the liberation of Shushi on May 9 was symbolic and incentive for the further victories of the Armenian army. ![]() ![]() As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
