Leader of the National Democratic Union (NDU), deputy of the Armenian parliament Vazgen Manukian stated today at a briefing in Yerevan that he will do his best to keep in party Shavarsh Kocharian and his adherents, who declared of their intention to leave the Union and form a new opposition party.Mr. Manukian said that the NDU congress, held last week, was unsuccessful. He noted that the Union he heads is in need of "internal integration". Otherwise, the ideology the national-democrats propagate will suffer, Manukian said. -0- Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
