Economy Minister threatens to punish employees of quality assurance systemMay 11, 2011 - 13:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan said the local system of accreditation, metrology and standards should be radically reformed soon. Structural, technical, staff and organizational changes will be introduced in the quality assurance system, Davtyan said on May 11 in the Armenian National Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. “All the services provided also by state structures should be available, while their consumers should be satisfied by their quality,” Davtyan said, adding that otherwise “employees will be brought to both administrative and criminal responsibility as per the law.” The Minister noted that Armenia has obligations before international structures, which should be met as soon as possible.
