Conducting extraordinary elections in Armenia unrealistic, Prime Minister says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister believes the possibility of conducting extraordinary elections in Armenia to be unrealistic.

“Armenian authorities are not getting ready for extraordinary elections there being no reasons to do so,” Tigran Sargsyan told a parliament-hosted news conference.

As he noted, authorities treat any suggestions of the opposition with due respect, as the opposition is entitled to advancing initiatives in the framework of a political struggle.

The Prime Minister refrained from commenting on recent statement of the second Armenian President Robert Kocharyan suggesting significant decrease in Armenian population’s quality of life in recent years.
