Baku continues provocations, prevents conflict settlementMay 12, 2011 - 13:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On the 17th anniversary of ceasefire, Azerbaijan has yet another time perpetrated a provocation, having killed an innocent Artsakh civilian, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman said, condemning the killing of Araik Balasanyan on May 11. “Such acts run counter with the logic of the peaceful settlement of conflict, triggering escalation of tensions on contact line and hampering implementation of international communities' recommendations on conflict resolution,” Tigran Balayan stated. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
