RPA shoulders its share of responsibility for social security violationsMay 13, 2011 - 15:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of the Armenian parliamentary groups commented on numerous violations revealed by the Armenian Control Chamber in the social security field. Head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan told a briefing in the Armenian parliament that the current authorities are responsible for any actions and phenomena in the country, though individuals may be guilty for them. “The Republican Party of Armenia bears certain responsibility within this context,” Sahakyan said, adding that the authorities have found a model to tackle corruption. Secretary of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Artyusha Shahbazayan said for his part that the violations revealed by the Armenian Control Chamber prove that a vicious system is established in the country, while those persons, who are not interested in destroying this system, are accomplices in these violations. Shahbazyan noted that there are such individuals in both authorities and opposition. On May 12, head of the Armenian Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan submitted 2010 report of the Chamber to the Armenian parliament, presenting numerous violations especially in the social security field.
