Baku never rejected Karabakh participation in talks, Azeri expert says![]() May 16, 2011 - 16:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Nagorno Karabakh conflict cannot stay “frozen” much longer, according to an Azerbaijani political expert. As Rasim Musabekov said during an online interview when responding to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question, “escalated tension in Karabakh conflict zone is a reminder that a cease-fire does not mean the war has ended.” When asked if possible involvement of Karabakh side might help the conflict settlement progress, the expert stated, “Azerbaijan never rejected the involvement of Nagorno Karabakh’s Armenian community, yet the issue has to do with discussion of the status.” ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
