Bako Sahakyan: Kashatagh region development is of pan-Armenian importance May 18, 2011 - 16:20 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 18, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan visited the town of Berdzor, Kashatagh region and partook in the festive events dedicated to the 19th anniversary of the town’s liberation. In his speech the President noted that the liberation of Berdzor had become a significant military, political and psychological victory for the whole Armenian nation, without which it would have been impossible to defend independence and freedom. President Sahakyan characterized the development of Kashatagh region a strategic issue of pan-Armenian importance. Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, members of the National Assembly and Cabinet of Ministers, as well as guests from the Republic of Armenia attended the events, Central Information Department at Artsakh President's Office reported.
