Oil, gas to be explored in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - During the May 20 meeting, Armenian government decided to issue a license to explore reserves of gas and oil in the republic. According to Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan, the license will be tendered.

Oil exploration works were launched in Armenia in 1940-50, when unprofitable oil and gas was found in some wells.
