Karapet Rubinyan doesn't plan forming new party

PanARMENIAN.Net - Online Liberals Alliance initiative coordinator, former ANC member Karapet Rubinyan does not plan forming a new party. However, he does not rule out his affiliation with other parties.

As the former ANC member noted at news conference in Yerevan, weakening of the parties' roles is observed on the background of increasing influence of civic initiatives and forums.

Rubinyan was sceptical over the possibility for any political force to occupy the niche vacated by ANC, specifically because of people's disappointment and fading of the wave of revolutions in Arab world. “Worsening of the social situation in the country might be the only factor to aid the radical forces in their anti-government struggle,” he said.
