Ramkavar Azatakan leader: amnesty is not Armenian authorities' concession

PanARMENIAN.Net - Ramkavar Azatakan Party leader does not consider the amnesty of those detained after March 2008 events as the authorities’ concession.

As Eduard Antinian stated at Civil Meeting organized by Heritage opposition party, ANC leaders accepted the rules of a game imposed by the authorities, agreeing to label those detained after March 2008 as criminals.

“Yet there was a time when ANC itself dubbed those who accepted their fault in exchange for an amnesty as traitors,” Antinian remarked.

Ramkavar Azatakan leader noted an amnesty to be a purely political step. “The efforts authorities undertook to decrease tension in the society proved ineffective. Luckily, the very force that sowed hatred (ANC) refused to go on,” Antinian stated.
