Ambassador: Poland may supply modernized Soviet arms to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Polish ambassador to Armenia Zdzislaw Raczynski said Armenia and Poland currently negotiate on cooperation in the military and technical field.

Specifically, negotiations are held around possible supply of modernized Soviet arms to Armenia, since the country’s armed forces basically use Russia or Soviet Union-produced weapons, Raczynski told a press conference in Yerevan.

Besides, the ambassador noted that Armenian officers will have the opportunity to study in higher military educational institutions of Poland.
