ANC’s dialogue with authorities aimed at snap elections - ANM![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Armenian National Movement (ANM) Board Aram Manukyan said the dialogue between the Armenian National Congress (ANC) and the authorities is solely aimed at holding pre-term elections. “Nothing has changed in out strategy and stance,” Manukyan told a press conference in Yerevan. He added that the authorities have to make concessions, given the people’s pressure and correct policy of ANC leaders. According to Manukyan, ANC is trying to achieve its goals peacefully and through civil methods. However, he added that if this process fails, “the nation is ready to apply tougher and rapid methods.” Manukyan noted that the transfer of power to the opposition is within interests of the authorities, while “the power and will of the people should not be underestimated.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
