NKR AUTHORITIES ARE READY TO COOPERATE WITH IRCC IN THE SEARCH OF MISSING PEOPLEJanuary 18, 2001 - 21:12 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 18.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. Nagorno Karabakh is ready to cooperate with the International Red Cross Committee (IRCC) in the matter of searching people, missing due to the Karabakh conflict.As Mediamax was informed in the press service of the Foreign Ministry of NKR, Foreign Minister Naira Melkumian stated this at the meeting with IRCC Office chief in Karabakh Yurg Fridley. Possible ways of cooperation between the IRCC and NKR authorities in 2001 were discussed during the meeting. The parties agreed that the correspondent commission, set up recently by NKR President's order, will provide successful realization of coordination of activities, aimed at the search of people, missing due to Karabakh war. --0-- ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult.
