ARMENIAN PRESIDENT WON'T BE TAKING PART IN THE ECONOMIC SUMMIT IN DAVOS

PanARMENIAN.Net - 18.01.2001, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The President of Armenia Robert Kocharian won't be taking part in the work of the Economic summit in Davos, the press secretary of the president Vahe Gabrielian informed Mediamax.

On January 28, the opening day of the Davos forum, Robert Kocharian will be in Strasbourg to take part in the official ceremony of Armenia's official entrance to the Council of Europe. President Kocharian participated in the work of the Davos forums in 1999 and 2000.

According to "Bilik Dunyasi", Azeri President Heydar Aliyev, more likely, will not participate in the regular Economic forum in Davos either and will leave for Strasbourg. On January 26 the meeting of Jacques Chirac with the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is planned. -0-
