ARFD: amnesty proves agreement between authorities, opposition

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia should have declared amnesty two years ago, member of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun said.

“Nevertheless, the move, although belated, may help the situation in jails,” Artsvik Minasyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

According to him, the amnesty proved that there is an agreement between the authorities and opposition. “Armenian people will face a new challenge if Armenian-Turkish relations will be put on parliament’s agenda,” Minasyan said, adding that the decision to ratify the protocols on normalization of relations with Turkey and adoption of Madrid principles will have deplorable consequences.
