Tengiz Sharmanashvili explains Georgian opposition’s actions by influence of external forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian Ambassador to Armenia explained Georgian opposition’s actions and clashes with the authorities by the influence of external forces.As Tengiz Sharmanashvili told a news conference in Yerevan, Georgia seeks to integrate into European community both on political and military-political level, yet certain groups financed by foreign countries attempt to prevent the process.

“As opposed to Georgia, internal political struggle in Armenia is not explained by the intervention of other states,” the Ambassador noted.

The Ambassador characterized the current situation in Georgia as stable, with rallies taken in their stride, being an expression of the citizens’ legal rights.
