Syrian Minister of Higher Education will visit Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Ambassador to Syria Arshak Poladyan met with the newly appointed Syrian Minister of Higher Education.

At the meeting, the parties focused on bilateral cooperation in the sectors of education and science, giving high assessment to activities accomplished in this direction.

Discussion of an agreement on mutual recognition of higher education certificates, Armenian students’ education at Damascus University and other issues were on meeting agenda.

A possibility of the Minister’s visit to Yerevan to familiarize himself with Armenia’s education system was focused on, Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.
