Andranik Matikozian comes 2nd at L.A.-hosted international chess tournament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian international master Andranik Matikozian shared the 2nd-4th places in the round-robin international tournament held in Los Angeles. Having scored 6,5 points out of 9, Matikozian dropped only half a point behind the winner, IM Zhanibek Amanov (Kazakhstan).

Armenian grandmaster David Arutinian scored 7 points out of 10 to come 5th among the 86 participants of the open in Olongapo, Philippines. GMs Darwin Laylo (Philippines), Wen Yang and Li Shilong (China) won the tournament leaving the Armenian participant half a point behind, armchess.am.
