Nairit plant employees may get their salaries within 15 days

PanARMENIAN.Net - Nairit CJSC employees, who gathered at the residence of Armenia’s President, met with head of the Control Service under the Armenian President Hovhannes Hovsepyan to present their complaints.

Specifically, the employees demanded payment of their 3-month salary and to get explanations regarding the fate of the plant.

Chairman of the Nairit labor union Hrachya Tadevosyan told journalists that Hovsepyan promised complete payment of their salary within 15 days. However, the plant employees are not happy with the decision, since they were last remunerated in April, when they were paid the salary for February. Hovsepyan also said that the plant will resume operation.

The plant employees for their part promised another protest action near the presidential residence, unless they are paid within the promised term.
