  Armenia’s Jews hope for Knesset to recognize GenocideJune 10, 2011 - 14:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s Jewish community hopes for Genocide recognition issue at Knesset to be positively resolved in near future, the community's chairperson said. As Rimma Varzhapetryan told a news conference in Yerevan, significant progress has been observed, judging by Knesset speaker Reuven Rivlin’s encouraging statements, as well as Armenian issue lobby group at Israeli parliament. Ms. Varzhapetryan further dwelled on intensive Azerbaijani propaganda among Israeli MPs, effected through support and high-level meetings. “Armenia’s Jewish community offers a very good welcome to Israeli officials, yet that’s not enough. The matter requires a governmental approach,” she stated.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
