12 AFGHANS ARE ARRESTED IN DAGHESTAN, TRYING TO ENTER CHECHNYA ILLEGALLY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 21.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The police arrested in Daghestan 12 Afghans, who crossed the Azerbaijani-Russian border illegally, RIA Novosti reports, quoting the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Daghestan.

According to the preliminary information, the Afghans were going to enter Chechnya to be involved in one of criminal groups fighting against the federal forces. -0-
