"Armenia needs powerful oppositional power, which can become a real alternative to the present leadership", deputy of the Armenian National Assembly, member of the National-Democratic Union Shavarsh Kocharian said in the interview to Mediamax.The authorities can't work effectively when the country lacks real opposition, Kocharian said. In such situation some personalities may appear on the political arena, who can gain the people's sympathy without any concrete programs, the deputy said.
