  Russian Orthodox Church to arrange Sheikh ul-Islam's visit to Armenia June 17, 2011 - 19:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian Orthodox Church is taking preparations to arrange the visit of Allahshukur Pashazade, Sheikh ul-Islam and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus to Armenia, the director of the Center for Geography of Religions Roman Silantyev stated. As Silantyev noted, the visit is planned within the framework of Yerevan-hosted CIS interreligious council panel due November 28. Previously, All Armenian Catholicos Karekin II paid a visit to Baku. According to Silantyev, mutual visits between the Sheikh ul-Islam and the Catholicos will promote a new stage in Karabakh conflict settlement.
