ARMENIA IS READY TO ACTIVATE RELATIONS WITH GERMANY

PanARMENIAN.Net - 12.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The President of Armenia Robert Kocharian met today in Yerevan with the delegation of German Bundestag headed by chief of the budget commission Hans Georg Wagner. The parties discussed wide range of questions of Armenian-German cooperation, Mediamax was informed in the press office of the President of Armenia.

Robert Kocharian said Armenia gives special importance to activation of relations with Germany in the context of it's European politics and is ready for serious bilateral cooperation. The interlocutors noted the importance of expansion of the German investments in the Armenian economy.

Problems of regional cooperation in the sphere of economy and security were also discussed at the meeting. -0-
