FOREIGN MINISTER OF AZERBAIJAN: ARMENIA IS NOT READY FOR CONCESSIONS

PanARMENIAN.Net - 04.12.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. "Armenia doesn't respond adequately to Azerbaijan's readiness for concessions", Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Vilayat Guliyev said in the interview to Mediamax.

He said that Armenia and Azerbaijan would either conjointly come to some common postulates or "the parties will keep to rough positions".

Azeri Foreign Minister said that Azerbaijan is ready to confer the highest degree of self-rule upon the Nagorno-Karabakh, the borders of which will be specified by the conflict sides. V Guliyev stressed that Azerbaijan will never agree to give Armenia part of the territory, which is internationally recognized as Azerbaijan's. "Moreover, we will never reconcile with the formation of a second Armenian state on these territories", Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan said. -0-
