Armenia, NATO praise bilateral cooperation development![]() June 28, 2011 - 18:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 28, Armenian Defence Minister Seyran Ohanyan met with NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia James Appathurai in Yerevan. At the meeting, the parties gave high assessment to Armenia-NATO cooperation development, in peacemaking, military education, training and defence sector reforms. Ohanyan congratulated Appathurai on his recent appointment, expressing hope for him to contribute to Armenia-NATO cooperation development, Defence Ministry press service reported. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
