Armenia’s chess youth team leads Vladimir Dvorkovich Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net - On June 25-July 4, Moscow is hosting Vladimir Dvorkovich Cup 2011 International Rapid Chess Youth Team Tournament.At the tournament, Armenia is represented by FIDE master Susanna Gharibyan; Youth Chess Olympiad winners Karen Grigoryan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan as well as Tigran Harutyunyan.

After the 6th tour, Armenia is leading the tournament with 18,5 points, followed by Azerbaijan and China (15,5 and 15 points respectively).

The tournament organized in commemoration of the outstanding chess arbiter is also hosting Kazakhstan, Ukrainian, Belarusian and 2 Russian teams.
