ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO VISIT TURKMENISTAN TOMORROW FOR A ONE-DAY VISITNovember 28, 2000 - 19:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 28.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. On November 29 the President of Armenia Robert Kocharian will leave for Turkmenistan for a one-day official visit, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the president of Armenia.During the visit President Kocharian will meet with his Turkmen counterpart Saparmurad Niyazov. Armenian-Turkmen negotiations in an enlarged format will also be held, after which the signing of an agreement between the governments of the two countries to render legal assistance in civic, family and criminal cases is planned. The ministers of economy and finance, energy, internal affairs, coordination of industrial infrastructures as well as Armenian businessmen are included in the Armenian delegation. Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkmenistan were established in October 1992. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
