NO ASPECT OF THE OSCE'S WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN TO SETTLE THE KARABAKH CONFLICT, STATES THE US SECRETARY OF

PanARMENIAN.Net - 28.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. No aspect of the OSCE's work is more important than the effort of the Minsk Group to find a solution to the conflict over Nagorno Karabakh. The US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright stated this at the session of the OSCE Foreign Ministerial Council in Vienna, Mediamax was informed in the press service of the OSCE.

"This problem is too dangerous to remain permanently frozen", said Albright. As one of the co-chairs of the Minsk Group, the United States will continue to work for a settlement that benefits both Armenia and Azerbaijan. But only the parties, acting in a spirit of compromise, can make such a settlement real, Albright said. -0-
