  NKR hopes to complete Stepanakert airport construction by September  July 6, 2011 - 17:13 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The head of the department of civil aviation at Artsakh government expects Stepanakert airport construction to be completed in September, weather permitting. As Dmitry Atbashyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, “construction of runway and flight safety provision center is in progress.” “Internal audit of the airport will be organised upon completion of construction works,” he added. Earlier, Atbashyan said that flights will be at first operated to Yerevan. Further, flights to CIS countries, specifically to Russia, may be launched.
