JDR: Georgian compatriots’ mind overcomes national chauvinists’ emotions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Javakhk Diaspora of Russia (JDR) welcomes the decision passed by the Georgian Parliament and the President on granting legal status to the Eparchy of the Holy Armenian Apostolic Church (AACh) in Georgia.

In this connection, Javakhk Diaspora of Russia congratulated the Holy Echmiadzin headed by Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Garegin II, head of AACh Georgian Eparchy Vazgen Mirzakhanian, Vicar of Samtskhe-Javakhk hieromonk Babken Salbiyan, as well as all Armenians in Georgia.

“God bless that, some Georgian compatriots’ mind overcame national chauvinists’ emotions. First of our demands has been performed. Next, we consider it important for our Georgian friends to ignore discriminatory calls and perform another demand, namely, return secularized Armenian temples, shrines and monuments. We are confident to hear a rejoicing news soon,” the statement says, as reported by the Javakhk Diaspora of Russia press service.
