Vanes Martirosyan may fight Deandre LatimoreJuly 8, 2011 - 15:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to multiple sources, an IBF junior middleweight eliminator is being discussed that would pit the undefeated Vanes Martirosyan (30-0) against former title challenger Deandre Latimore (22-3), BoxingScene.com reported. The winner would become the mandatory challenger to champion Cornelius Bundrage who is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Sechew Powell on June 25. Martirosyan is 2-0 this year with both wins coming by way of knockout. His most recent being a 7th round stoppage of Saul Roman in June. Latimore lost a close split decision when he challenged then IBF junior middleweight champion Cory Spinks in April of 2009. He is currently riding a two fight winning streak.
