MOTHERS OF KARABAKH'S LOST IN ACTIONS ADDRESSED TO AZERI PRESIDENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - 21.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. A group of mothers of Karabakh's soldiers lost in actions addressed to the Azeri President Heydar Aliyev with request to set free Karabakh's prisoners of war being kept in Azerbaijan.

Medimax was informed from the press office of Karabakh's Foreign Ministry that the letter says that according to the results of searches more than 600 Karabakh Armenians are imprisoned in Azerbaijan.

"Appraising and welcoming Your and President Kocharian's efforts in establishing a stable peace in the region we go on hopping for Your positive response to the repeating addresses regarding the liberation of our sons," the letter says.

In an address to the Azeri President it is also stressed that positive solution of the issues is important for restoring mutual trust and good neighborly relations between the both states. -0--
