THE PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA STARTS HIS STATE VISIT TO GREECE TOMORROW

PanARMENIAN.Net - 20.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. The President of Armenia Robert Kocharian will leave for Greece for a state visit tomorrow, November 21.

As it was reported to Mediamax in the press-office of the President of Armenia, Armenian ministers of foreign affairs, justice, industry and trade, agriculture, deputies of the National Assembly, mayors of Yerevan and Gyumri are included in the delegation.

During the three-day visit Robert Kocharian will meet with the President of Greece Konstantinos Stephanopulos, Prime Minister Konstantinos Simitis, speaker of the Greek parliament and leaders of the parliamentary factions. Armenian-Greek negotiations in an enlarged composition will also be held.

During the visit a Friendship and cooperation agreement is planned to be signed between Yerevan and the Athens. The Armenian delegation will also visit Salonika, where Friendship and cooperation agreement is to be signed between Gyumri and Salonika.

The Armenian delegation, led by President Kocharian, will return to Armenia on November 23. -0-
