Azaryan: Elector should realize importance of his ballot

PanARMENIAN.Net - Elector should realize importance of his ballot, which predetermines the country well-being for the near 5 years, according to Chairman of RA Centeral Election Committee Garegin Azaryan.

Azaryan noted that the Parties’ most important task is to explain electors that their ballot is invaluable.

“The parties must assess election campaign properly, only then respective elections are to be carried out in our country,” the Chairman said.

According to Azaryan’s estimations, it is impossible to rule out falsifications during elections entirely, but we may minimize its number, if electors’ attitude towards elections is changed.

He noted that violators identified during next elections will be punished, like in previous years, and he personally will monitor the process.

Speaking about his re-election as Chairman of RA Centeral Election Committee and agiotage around it, Azaryan acknowledged of rejection of his nomination after selection tour adding that the post of Chairman of Centeral Election Committee is not a political post, it supposes a work of different character.
