Ukrainian diplomats depart from pro-Azerbaijani course, expert says

PanARMENIAN.Net - Absence of any serious differences between Armenia and Ukraine, as well as age-long peaceful cohabitation are important factors in improvement of bilateral ties, according to the expert at Ukrainian Meridian social studies center.

As Oleg Smirnovstated, the recent visit of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan to Ukraine became a vivid proof that the authorities of the two courtiers are ready to actively develop political and economic ties. “There’s no sense in commenting on the reasons of political stagnation between Kyiv and Yerevan; the reason is well known and much discussed by media. What’s more important is Armenia-Ukraine cooperation perspectives which have serious potential,” he said.

According to the expert, representatives of diplomatic and ruling circles of Ukraine have realized the necessity of the departure from a stringent pro-Azerbaijani foreign policy course, at the same time attempting to develop all-round cooperation with all South Caucasus states, Analitika.at.ua reported.
