Georgia to host 2013 European Wrestling Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA) President Raphael Martinetti announced Georgia as the host country for 2013 European Wrestling Championship, worldsport.ge reported.

“Wrestling has great traditions in Georgia and people love this sport here. I think it is time for you to host the biggest tournaments. Today, I can officially state that in 2013, European Greco-Roman, freestyle and women wrestling championship will be held in your country. I am sure you can handle this mission efficiently,” Martinetti told a news conference in Batumi.
