  Heritage: Armenia not strong enough to influence Karabakh settlement  July 19, 2011 - 15:45 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - The deputy chairman of Heritage parliamentary party Ruben Hakobyan expressed concern over the current stage of Karabakh settlement. As he told a news conference in Yerevan, at present Armenia is not strong enough to influence the negotiation process. However, he noted, negotiations took a positive shift to benefit the Armenian side, as the Azeri-submitted road map runs counter to the interests of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries. A member of the Republican Party of Armenia, Mkrtich Minasyan, in turn, noted that recent statements by Azerbaijan suggest that that the country believes OSCE MG activities unproductive, doesn’t accept any principles of settlement and demands a new format. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
