Heritage: Armenia not strong enough to influence Karabakh settlement![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - The deputy chairman of Heritage parliamentary party Ruben Hakobyan expressed concern over the current stage of Karabakh settlement. As he told a news conference in Yerevan, at present Armenia is not strong enough to influence the negotiation process. However, he noted, negotiations took a positive shift to benefit the Armenian side, as the Azeri-submitted road map runs counter to the interests of OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries. A member of the Republican Party of Armenia, Mkrtich Minasyan, in turn, noted that recent statements by Azerbaijan suggest that that the country believes OSCE MG activities unproductive, doesn’t accept any principles of settlement and demands a new format. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
