Armenian community significant for development of Armenia-France cooperation July 19, 2011 - 18:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On July 19, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian met with Senator-Mayor of Lyon Gerard Collomb, according to RA MFA press service. Nalbandian signified development of Armenia-France relations, particularly stressing considerable achievements of decentralized cooperation in politics, economy, culture and education. Collocutors also emphasized importance of Armenian community’s input in interstate cooperation. In this connection, Collomb pointed out Armenian community’s contribution in development of France and the city governed by him. In the course of the meeting, Nalbandian also addressed preparatory works for General Assembly of francophone cities to be held in Yerevan in autumn 2011.
