Pyunik quits Champions League second qualifying round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s champion Pyunik quitted Champions League second qualifying round.

On July 19, FC Pyunik held a rematch with FC Viktoria Plzen of Czech Republic and was beaten with a score 5:1. In Yerevan-hosted UEFA Europe League first qualifier Pyunik suffered a crushing 0:4 loss vs. Viktoria as well.

The only goal of Pyunik in rematch with Czech Republic’s Vicktoria was struck by Edgar Malakyan, according to UEFA official website.

Champion of Czech Republic enters the next round.

In the third qualifying round Viktoria will rival with Rusenborg or Breidablik.
