China named main importer of computers in Armenia, will Georgia’s turn come soon?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Main share of computer imports in Armenia is taken by China, with UAE, Hong Kong, Taiwan, U.S. and Europe falling far behind.

However, as PanARMENIAN.Net reporter was told at one of Armenian computer stores, “European computers are actually the same ones that were imported from China.”

Computer manufacturing factory, constructed through joint efforts of Intel international corporation and Algorithm local company, was launched in Georgia. Annual production volumes of 300000 computers are envisaged, with increase planned in future. Exports to Azerbaijan and Armenia have been scheduled.
