Armenian kickboxer Vardan Mnatsakanyan prepares for clash against Ruben Almeida

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian-born kickboxer Vardan Mnatsakanyan will be facing off against Portugal’s Ruben Almeida in a kickboxing match on August 13, 2011 at the Palau D Esports De Benidorm in Spain.

As the kick-boxer said in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, he follows a 2-stage training session, with exercise training in the mornings and technical trainings in the evenings. “My coach and I carefully studied the fights of my rival. Almeida is tall, which is why he manages to keep distance and get minimum of punches. However, my strategy will be punching hard and allow my rival no distance,” Mnatsakanyan said.

On November 12, 2011 Vardan Mnatsakanyan will face Spain’s Pedro Felipe in a clash for WFCA kickboxing title.

“I’ll be performing in 63,5 kg weight class. The clash is due in Baracaldo, Spain to be held in 5 rounds 3 minutes each,” Mnatsakanyan said.
