  Chess tournament under-20: Maria Gevorgyan scores one point in the second roundAugust 4, 2011 - 13:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The second round of Chennai-hosted World Junior Chess Championship under-20 is under way. Among juniors Armenian chess players Samvel Ter-Sahakyan and Robert Hovhannisyan ended games in a draw with Moltun Lee of Austria and Vav Rajesh of India respectively. Ter-Sahakyan is presently the 26th while Hovhannisyan is 79th. Gevorgyan defeated Siddhali Shetye of India and climbed up to 20th place. Chinnai, India is hosting 50thWorld Junior & 29th Junior Girls Chess Championships 2011 on August 1-16, with 125 male and 69 female chess players participating.
