  Cases of ceasefire violations by Azeri forces exceed 1000 in July  August 4, 2011 - 14:46 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - July 1- 31, Azerbaijan 1100 times violated ceasefire regime at the line of contact between the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces. As the Armenian Defense Ministry press service told PanARMENIAN.Net Azeri forces fired 250 shots at the Armenian border. According to the Artsakh’s Defense Army, Azerbaijan fired 850 shots at NKR positions in the reporting period. Various caliber weapons were used by Azeri forces when violating ceasefire regime, such as DShK and KPVT (468 shots), SVD (371 shots), Cliff (110 shots) and Black Arrow (199 shots). Armenian armed forces are strictly observing the regime of ceasefire and revert to response actions in case of emergency. They totally control the situation at the line of contact with the enemy forces.   Top stories Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
