Artsakh President, head of Armenian General Staff discuss cooperation in defense sectorAugust 4, 2011 - 18:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 4, the President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met the head of the General Staff of the Republic of Armenia's Armed forces, colonel-general Yuri Khachaturov. Issues related to army building and cooperation between the two Armenian states in this sector were discussed during the meeting. Artsakh Republic Defense Minister, lieutenant-general Movses Hakobyan partook in the meeting, the Central Information Department at Artsakh President’s Office reported. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
