  Elina Danielyan suffers defeat by Kateryna Lahno in Grand Prix 5th round August 8, 2011 - 12:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Playing with white pieces, Armenian grandmaster Elina Danielyan suffered a defeat by Kateryna Lahno of Ukraine in the 5th round of the ongoing FIDE Grand Prix. The defeat worsened Danielyan’s position in the tournament standings, as she dropped to the 9th place with 2 points. Lahno gained 3.5 points and climbed the 2nd place. After 5 rounds, the Armenian GM is 2.5 points behind the leader of the tournament, China’s Hou Yifan, whom Danielyan will rival in the 6th round.
