SMALL BUDGET FILMS INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL WILL BE OPENED IN YEREVAN ON NOVEMBER 6November 3, 2000 - 19:07 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 03.11.2000, MEDIAMAX, YEREVAN. International festival of small budget films of independent film producers, entitled "Private view -2000" will be opened on November 6 in Cinema House in Yerevan. A Cannes festival prize winner -"Molokh", produced by Alexander Sakurov, will be the first to be shown. The "Private view-69" studio, Open Society Institute, Armenian Film Critics and Journalists Association, municipality of Yerevan and "Paradise" company are the organizers of the film festival. As the festival manager, Hovanes Galstian told Mediamax, taking into consideration the cognitive character of the festival the organizers offered regional film producers, film critics, and film directors to present their small budget films at the festival. Film producers from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Kirghizia and Armenia will participate in the festival. The festival will be held in two parts: film show and review of best video films for the past 5 years.
